Only 18% Android Users Likely To Switch To iPhone 13 Compared To 33% Last Year

Android users are less likely to want to switch to iPhone 13 this year than they were to switch to iPhone 12 last year, according to new research.

According to research carried out by SellCell, Android users are less likely to want to switch to iPhones this year thanks to the lack of a fingerprints scanner and concerns over the recently introduced child safety features.

The survey took place earlier this month and involved more than 5,000 current Android users aged over 18 in the United States. According to the numbers, only 18% of Android users would consider switching to an iPhone 13 device. That’s quite the reduction on the 33% of people that said they would consider switching when the same question was asked last year.

The iPhone 13 lineup is expected to feature an iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. According to the numbers, less than 4% of people were interested in switching to the 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini.

The largest 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max is the most popular pick among potential Android-to-iPhone switchers at 39.8%, followed by the standard 6.1-inch iPhone 13 model (36.1%), the 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro (19.5%), and the 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini (4.6%).

Apple is expected to announce its new iPhone 13 lineup at some point next month, with the new Apple Watch Series 7 also on the horizon. New AirPods, Macs, and iPads are also thought to be coming before the end of the year.
