Nvidia GeForce Now Coming To Steam Deck, Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest

The Nvidia GeForce Now game streaming service has long been the go-to option for people who want to play the biggest and best titles without having to buy expensive gaming machines and GPUs.

There are apps for most major platforms and for others, a web-based option is available. The app is better for various reasons, and now Nvidia says it’s coming to the Valve Steam Deck while Meta’s Quest headsets will get official support via a browser for the first time.

Announced via a blog post on the Nvidia website, the move means that it will soon be easier than ever to play games using GeForce Now on the Steam Deck handheld PC as well as the Meta Quest 3 and 3S.

While a web-based option has long been available for Steam Deck owners, Nvidia says the use of a proper app will offer an upgraded experience.

The Steam Deck’s portability paired with GeForce NOW opens up new possibilities for high-fidelity gaming everywhere. The native GeForce NOW app will offer up to 4K resolution and 60 frames per second with high dynamic range on Valve’s innovative Steam Deck handheld when connected to a TV, streaming from GeForce RTX-powered gaming rigs in the cloud.

The new Steam Deck app will launch later this year, while the VR headset version of the GeForce Now web app will launch later this month. All you’ll need to do is pair a controller with your headset to get the fun started.
