Sometimes we see some truly amazing action figures, especially related to our favorite science fiction movies or TV shows. And then, sometimes, we see something that just makes us shrug our shoulders and wonder what goes through the minds of people when they come up with these things. Can you guess which of those categories this new Steve Jobs action figure falls into?
We bet you can.
Snark aside, the figure, which is coming soon from DAM Toys, at least looks the part. A 1/6 scale replicate of the Apple co-founder, the figure comes with Jobs’ turtleneck, glasses, jeans and all manner of other accessories including a Macintosh. There is even an array of different hands that can be attached to allow Jobs to be posed, depending on what else you want to have with him in your little diorama.
There is no release date for the new action figure as yet, nor is there any indication how much it will cost when it does go on sale. While this is certainly not something I can imagine having in my possession, it is certainly easy to tell that, from the photos available so far at least, this is unlikely to be a cheap offering. The action figure definitely bears a striking resemblance to Steve Jobs, and that is just about all you can ask for with these kinds of things.
Would you buy a Steve Jobs action figure? What if you could collect the whole set, with Tim Cook and Jony Ive also in on the act? Just imagine the situations you could pose them all in, then!
