It’s been a great 24 hours for the guys behind MyGreatFest, the first ever iOS community convention after they announced an event will be taking place in the United States next year, as well as a new attendee for the UK event in September.
In a tweet this morning, @MyGreatFest announced that well-known hacker MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev-Team will be providing the keynote presentation at the US event in 2012 – something of a coup for the organizers.
Also of note today is the announcement that hacker p0sixninja (Joshua Hill) of Chronic Dev Team will now be attending the UK event in London in September after the MyGreatFest community raised the money to pay for the visit. Interestingly, fellow jailbreak personality ih8sn0w stumped up a large proportion of the cash.
In case you don’t already know, MyGreatFest is world’s first iDevice jailbreak convention, which is scheduled to be held in London, England on September 17th 2011. The convention will play host to some of the biggest names in the iOS jailbreaking community, including Cydia founder Jay (Saurik) Freeman as a keynote speaker.
Tickets for the event are available via the convention’s eStore and are priced at £27 for adults and £17 for children. Group discounts are also available.
Well done to all at MyGreatFest – we can’t wait to see what you’ve got in store for us next!
