Mophie Releases 10W Fast Wireless Charging Pad For iPhone X, 8, Samsung Phones

Accessory maker mophie today released yet another wireless charging pad for Qi-enabled smartphones, including the current Apple and Samsung flagships.

While the company’s existing Wireless Charging Base already offered the faster, 7.5W flavor of wireless charging, the new Charge Stream Pad+ goes a step beyond with a 10W output, which may not be supported by the iPhone X, 8, and 8 Plus as of this writing, but a future firmware update may possibly add support for the same, as was the case with support for 7.5W wireless charging.

For the astute, the new accessory offers the following in features and build quality:

  • Fast wireless charging for supported devices at up to 10W of power
  • QC 2.0 wall adapter
  • Rubberized, non-slip TPU top pad to keep your device in place
  • 1.5M Micro USB cable included so you can start charging right out of the box
  • Supports charging through cases with up to 3mm thickness

The Charge Stream Pad+ comes in white and black colors, has a removable cable, and is currently selling over for $60. If you’d rather not plump up the value for the additional 2.5W power that you may never utilize, you may instead want to opt for mophie’s older Wireless Charging Base, which has had its price reduced from $60 to $50 following the release of its successor.
