Mophie is easily one of the most renowned and trusted names when it comes to battery charging cases for mobile devices. Today, the company has announced the launch of its latest battery charging solutions for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, and even the Galaxy S7/S7 Edge, with wireless charging technology being built right into the case.
We are looking at Juice Pack Wireless for iPhone 6s/6/6s Plus/6 Plus and Galaxy S7/S7 Edge with wireless charging base, Charge Force desk mount, and Charge Force vent mount.
These new contraptions represent what Mophie refers to as “its first 24/7 wireless charging ecosystem.” According to Mophie’s COO and Co-Founder Shawn Dougherty: “Wireless charging is being integrated into our lives at coffee shops, restaurants, airports, in furniture, cars and so on”.
Lets take a closer look at all of these newly announced products by Mophie one by one.
Juice Pack Wireless for Apple iPhone/Samsung Galaxy with wireless charging base:
As expected, the Juice Pack Wireless contains the goodness of the original Juice Pack, but of course provides the convenience of wireless charging. Since the case is compatible with any regular Qi-standard wireless charging station, you’re not bound to purchase any of Mophie’s wireless charging pad accessories. That said, the Juice Pack Wireless for iPhone does ship with its own basic wireless charging base, but strangely enough, there’s none included with the Juice Pack Wireless for Galaxy S7/S7 Edge.
The Juice Pack Wireless for iPhone 6s/6 packs a 1,560mAh battery, while the Juice Pack Wireless for iPhone 6s Plus/6 Plus carries a 2,420mAh battery, holding up to 50% of additional charge.
Charge Force desk mount
This particular charging pad doubles as a magnetic docking mount. With its pedestal like design, it allows for multiple viewing angles while on the charge, and the embedded magnets are strong enough to easily hold the mobile device at any angle.
Charge Force vent mount
No surprises here again. The Charge Force vent mount offer wireless charging in the car and has a “4-prong mount which easily slips over a car’s air vent”. The embedded magnets are strong enough to hold the mobile device in place even while crossing over bumps on a road.
All of the gadgetry is available in black color only, for now at least, and is available for purchase right now at Mophie’s website. Prices are as following:
