Microsoft Just Launched A Windows App For iPhones, Macs, And More

Microsoft has launched a new Windows app that can be downloaded on the Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android, and used via the web browser.

And yes, you can also download and use it on Windows computers as well. It’s designed to offer a streaming version of Windows via Windows 365 and other options. Remote Desktop support is also included.

The new app is of course free for download and supports multiple monitors, USB connections, and more.

With Windows App, you can enjoy a unified experience that makes it simple for people to connect to the Windows experience they know and love from any device. Enhance productivity with features such as customizable home screens, multi-monitor support, and USB redirection. Windows App also offers advanced security features, including multifactor authentication, to ensure a seamless and robust connection and enable efficient work from any location, at any time.

However, there’s a catch. The new Windows app is only available to those with Microsoft work or school accounts which means that there’s a good chance that you won’t be able to use it yourself.

There is currently no suggestion that Microsoft intends to bring the app to personal accounts any time soon, so that’s unfortunate. But if you’re a Microsoft business or school user now is the time to download the Windows app and take it for a spin.
