E3 is undoubtedly one of the biggest event in the video gaming calendar, and with Sony having only dropped its brand-new PlayStation 4 console a couple of months back, gamers are braced for a slew of big announcements at the Japanese company’s usual spot during the expo. But thanks to an immensely detailed leak, it looks like the proverbial cat is out of the bag, and if you’re intrigued to learn of what’s in store for the PS4 this year and next, check out the key details below!
The folks at DualShockers have, thanks to an anonymous tipster, divulged what can only be described as a very complete-looking list of info relating to the game release roadmap, and so without further ado, let’s get stuck into the highlights.
Notably, the eagerly-anticipated Uncharted will be demoed in a three-minute trailer showcasing both the game play and engine-level capabilities that will apparently blow minds. The title will reach the market in the summer of next year, shortly before Media Molecule drops its intriguing, creative world-building title that will truly demonstrate the capabilities of the Project Morpheus VR system.
Gran Turismo 6 will also be hitting the mid-to-late 2015 release bracket, while E3 is also expected to play host to a God of War 4 teaser. GoW is one of the more popular franchises in modern gaming, but before you get too excited, this particular leak plays down the coverage of God of War 4 at E3, which will likely consist of a brief glimpse and no release date.
Sony Bend could be planning to rejuvenate Syphon Filter, which is very interesting given the age of this particular franchise, while another classic – Wipeout – is also being readied for the PS4. There are also trailers in the offing for Quantic Dream and The Order: 1886, while UK-based indie developer Ninja Theory is also thought to have a PS4 exclusive up its sleeve.
To round up, E3 will be graced with the presence of Sony London, which has a big third-person title to announce, while the likes of Guerrilla Games, Sucker Punch and Sony Japan Studios will also be getting on the act along with From Software and Evolution.
A myriad of developers and publishers, including Ubisoft, Capcom, Water Brothers, Activision, Konami, Take Two, EA and Square Enix, will also apparently be taking to the stage to share their own respective announcements, and with all these big names, we simply cannot wait for E3 to kick off.
