Marvel’s What If…? Is Getting A Special Apple Vision Pro Immersive Experience

The Apple Vision Pro has been on sale for a few months now but it’s fair to say that the shine has started to wear off the $3,499 headset.

Apple will hope that the arrival of new content will help change that, and Marvel has announced it’s bringing a special immersive experience to the platform.

That experience comes in the form of a special What If…? offering that will give Apple Vision Pro owners a new, unique experience that will last an hour and be available via a new Apple Vision Pro app.

Fans will be invited to step inside the Multiverse like never before and have the chance to dive into an immersive, narrative-driven and innovative story in mixed reality. Connected to the critically acclaimed Disney+ Original animated series What If…?, Marvel.com was given a first look at the hour-long experience, diving into what fans can expect when it is released soon as a new app for Apple Vision Pro.

The new augmented reality experience should be no surprise to anyone given the relationship between Apple and Disney, but many will hope that this is just one example of the experiences that are already in the works.

Apple will also need to get other companies on board, and with Netflix having so far refused to even make an app for the spatial computer it’s clear the there is still plenty of work to be done on that front.
