Apple’s 2024 is already off to a big start with the release of the Vision Pro headset taking place on February 2, but that isn’t going to be the end of the new products. Now, a new report claims that Apple will release new iPads and laptops as soon as March or April.
That report comes via Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman who claims that Apple will ship the new products in spring this year, hinting at a potential March or April release.
The iPad Air could be the biggest news considering plans for Apple to launch an all-new 12.9-inch model. It’s thought that the machine will debut alongside a refreshed 10.9-inch variant, while both will be powered by Apple’s M2 chip and have Wi-Fi 6E support.
The iPad Pro refresh is one that we’ve heard about for some time now and will reportedly see Apple switch both the 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro to new OLED displays.
The new displays will offer improved contrast and colors, all while potentially improving battery life. A price increase is expected, however, while the two tablets will likely use Apple’s M3 chip.
Apple is also expected to update the 13- and 15-inch MacBook Airs with the M3 chip this spring. This would be the first time the two laptops have launched at the same time, however, and we can likely expect that to be the case from here on out as well.
