A new tweak has been released in Cydia, called "Fake About Screen". It allows you to set whatever firmware, capacity, serial number, etc, that you want, making your jailbroken iPhone and iPod touch look like a future version of the Apple device.
In my screen shot, I made up some crazy values, just for fun, but this tweak can be used to trick your friends into thinking you’ve got access to an unreleased firmware, or even an unreleased device! Just set the values to something a little more believable than I have. 😉

With this package you’ll be able to set fake values for your About screen! Very useful if you need to take your device to the Genius Bar and want it to look like as if it’s been restored (especially for the newest devices, which iTunes would only restore to 3.1.3) or if you want to hide a preserved baseband. "Fake About Screen" comes from developer Stefman_R, and is available for free, in Cydia, right now.
