Apple has today made this week’s free iOS app available, with the game Magnetized receiving the honor of the badge ‘App of the Week.’ More details and download link can be found right here.
Magnetized, which would normally set players back $2.99, is available to download for free as part of the weekly promotion and as a result is worth downloading no matter what. Thankfully though, Magnetized is a good game wrapped in a magnet-based puzzler. Gamers tap the screen in order to harness the power of magnets and then escape the maze that is set before them. As seems typical for this kind of iOS puzzler, Magnetized features an aesthetic that will either set your juices flowing or send you running for the hills. We’re fans of the neon look here, but we can see why it might grate.
Featuring a whopping 80 levels, Magnetized “is an abstract physics puzzle game” which sports more than a few excellent reviews from around the Web. We think the game would probably be worth picking up at its original price, but at the discounted price of free there really is no good reason not to partake in a spot of neon puzzle action. Go on, treat yourself.
Chasing dreams is like walking alone on an endless road, direction is so clear but way to long, trying so hard but no one knows. This journey is full of odds and joy. Sometimes we succeed but most of the time we failed. Is it worth it anymore? No one ever knows. All we can do is carry on, and find out the answers.
Now you have to admit that there is enough there to at least whet the appetite, no?
Magentized can be downloaded from the iOS App Store right now, and for the next week it won’t cost you a penny. After that we don’t know exactly what price the developer will make the game, but we’d hazard a guess at the original $2.99 price point.
For your convenience, we’ve embedded the direct download link to the game below.
