Keen to make sure that it gets in on the current HomeKit boom, LIFX has announced that it has a couple of new products that will allow users to control their lighting needs from any iOS device.
Featuring a new LED lighting panel system as well as a system dedicated to accent lighting, the new offerings will both go on sale next month.
Kicking things off, we have the Beam accent lighting system, which is capable of producing 16 million colors and can be added to any wall to provide ambient light as required. With HomeKit support, users can use their iPhone or iPad to alter the color and brightness of the light, just as you might expect.
The kit won’t be cheap when it goes on sale in November, though, with the $199 Beam Kit including 6 individual Beams, 1 corner connector piece, and a power pack. While HomeKit support is included, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and IFTTT are all also on the box.

The use of zones means that each panel is capable of displaying multiple colors at any one time, which is handy, to say the least.
