While most of the attention is on Apple’s upcoming iPhone 14 announcements, the company is also set to take the wraps off the new Apple Watch Series 8 and a refreshed Apple Watch SE during the same event.
In addition, a new Apple Watch Pro is also thought to be on the horizon and new images suggest we should expect new buttons, too.
The Apple Watch Pro is thought to be a more rugged device, complete with a larger display and titanium construction designed to make it more resistant to damage.
The watch itself is thought to be aimed at rugged outdoors use, much like a Casio G-Shock, and new images of supposed case designs might point to new buttons, too.
The new case, shared by leaker Sonny Dickson, appears to show space for a new button that would also mean the moving of speaker vents. It’s difficult to know for sure, however, and we might need to wait for Apple to announce this thing on Wednesday.
Dickson isn’t the only one to share images of supposed Apple Watch Pro cases, tough. Weibo user Uncle Pan shared images of similar cases, again with space for what could be an additional button. Both leakers have proven reliable in the past, and it’s likely that Apple could add another button to the Apple Watch Pro for use in specific activities and more.
Apple is set to announce everything during a streamed event on Wednesday — just two days away. New iPhone 14 models are also expected, while refreshed AirPods Pro could make their debut as well.
