You can now get Kodi 21 Omega alpha 1 Android APK download along with iOS IPA and Windows, Mac versions. Here are the details on it.
If you’re someone who uses the Kodi media playback and management software you’re in for a treat. The first Kodi 21 Omega alpha is now available for download.
This is a very early build of the next big release of Kodi. In fact, it’s so early that the blog post announcing the update didn’t even have the artwork ready by the time it was published.
That might tell you all you need to know about how buggy this alpha release could be.
As such, the team behind Kodi is keen to make sure that everyone is aware that they could experience issues if they install this release.
This is a major release, so, as you’d expect, it comes with many new features. However, with a core change to FFmpeg 6.0, there is a very good chance that some regressions may occur. As such, please be aware that installing this will most likely break things, and we’d really like your help at that point to identify the problems and get them fixed.
That being said, you can learn more about what’s changed over in the Kodi 21 Omega Alpha 1 blog post. You can also download the first alpha build and take it for a spin for yourself.
If you do decide to go that route we’d strongly suggest making sure that you have everything backed up before you do.
