You can now jailbreak iOS 12.4.8 using unc0ver jailbreak tool on compatible iPhone and iPad devices. Here are the details.
If you’re using the recently released iOS 12.4.8 and want to jailbreak, we have good news for you! The unc0ver jailbreak team has today announced that the tool now supports the update for the first time.
Users of the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6, and original iPad Air can now jailbreak using the newly updated tool, although there aren’t any huge changes to talk about beyond that particular update.
This will probably be the last big addition to unc0ver before iOS 14 arrives later this year, too.
Anyone wanting to jailbreak their newly updated iPhone 6s, iPhone 6, and original iPad Air can do so now by downloading Uncover version 5.3.1 and following the usual installation process.
We’re also told that the exploit used here is now more reliable than the ones used to jailbreak earlier versions of iOS, too.
