It’s Time: iPhone 6s And iPhone 6s Plus Goes On Sale Today

You may be forgiven that this single day is the only thing that matters when it comes to the launch of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. After all, today is the day that pre-orders start to deliver. Today is also the day that consumers can walk into physical Apple Store for the first time and experience the iPhone 6s hands-on. The truth is that months of intense speculation and conjecture, as well as a number of important leaks and reveals, have all contributed to launch day. The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus is real, and it’s now available in twelve countries as of today.

Initially announced during the dedicated media event on September 9, both the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have been available to pre-order via Apple’s digital store since last Friday. And as you might expect, both the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch offerings have proven to come attached with considerable demand, with even Apple admitting that initial demand is looking likely to surpass that of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus which were launched this time last year. In fact, such is the demand for the hardware the delivery estimates have already pushed back in October for most models.

Historical iPhone launches have seen consumers turn up at Apple Stores on launch morning in their thousands in the hope of getting a new device after choosing to forgo the pre-order lottery. This year is no different. With that said, it seems that the pre-order process was handled a lot better this year, and has proved to be a lot more efficient and seamless for those trying to get their hands on Apple’s new hardware.

Apple’s iPhone launches are always extremely popular. The addition of 3D Touch and the Live Photo features in iPhone 6s and 6s Plus has a lot of consumers chomping at the bit to experience the hardware for real. If you’re one of those wanting to experience it for real, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are now available in the following countries:

  • United States
  • United Kingdom
  • China
  • Australia
  • Canada
  • France
