Apple is set to announce new Macs at a “Scary Fast” event that will be streamed online on October 30.
We don’t know for sure what that event will see be announced, but the smart money right now is on there being at least a couple new MacBook Pros unveiled. Now, it appears that one of them has leaked.
That leak comes in the form of what appears to be a MacBook Pro’s box, shared in photo from on the Chinese social network Weibo. The picture was then reshared to the X social network by leaker ShrimpApplePro, although it can’t be confirmed that this is the real deal.
Both Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman and supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo now believe that Apple will announce new M3 MacBook Pros next week.
That means it’s likely that we will see a 13-inch MacBook Pro with an M3 chip joined by two other machines; the 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pros. If Apple follows the pattern we think that it will, those machines will both ship with M3 Pro and M3 Max configuration options.
I guess this is the new MacBook Pro

The new M3-series chips will be based on TSMC’s 3nm manufacturing process, a process that has already seen the arrival of the A17 Pro in the latest iPhone 15 Pro models. All three chips expected to be faster than their M2 counterparts, but it remains to be seen just how much faster that will be.
