Those looking to order an iPhone X in Europe, Asia Pacific and some other regions could be in luck, with a number of countries reporting reduced shipping estimated times for the smartphone.
Since the iPhone X launch on November 3rd, shipping dates had drifted out to between three and four weeks from five to six weeks, but those ordering now are seeing expected delivery dates of between two and three weeks, meaning they can expect their new iPhone to arrive long before Christmas.
The reduced shipping times are in effect across all European countries in which the iPhone X has been released, including UK, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, and the Netherlands among others. Same goes for most of Asia Pacific countries as well including Japan, China. Moreover, improved estimated shipping times can be seen in Australia and New Zealand too.
Unfortunately, shipping times in the United States continue to show as three to four weeks, however it has been noted in the past that when European shipping times have improved, North American times have soon improved, also.
The new online shipping dates mirror reports of those who ordered previously and have seen their iPhones dispatched ahead of when they were expected to, thanks to an apparent increase in manufacturing levels. Apple CEO Tim Cook had previously said that the company was going to ramp up production, and the latest reduction in delivery times appears to suggest this has happened.
Anyone looking to pick an iPhone X up ASAP should also note that Apple’s retail stores appear to be receiving a steady stream of stock. Orders for collection can be made via the Apple website and Apple Store app on iPhones and iPads, with local stock levels updated every morning.
Rumors ahead of the iPhone X launch had suggested that stock would be severely constrained, with many believing delivery this side of Christmas would be difficult to manage. Thankfully, this appears to not be the case.
Update x1: Seems like 2-3 weeks estimated shipping time is now showing up in United States and Canada too!
