Sometimes, in certain circumstances, minimal elegance can be the absolutely right way to go. In the case of Apple’s iPhone, or any smartphone, there is a tendency to try and be overly elaborate with wallpapers and lock screen visuals. Designer @heyeased proved last year that this doesn’t always need to be the case and has proven it once again by updating his minimalistic wallpapers for Apple’s new iPhone models.
You may or may not remember the innovative and unique wallpapers that he designed and released back in 2016 when Apple’s iPhone 7 and 7 Plus were gaining popularity.
Apple fixed a number of the glitches which made his creations possible, but the designer then went on to release a number of visually impressive but overly minimalistic wallpapers for the gorgeous iPhone X which accentuated the infamous notch and made use of the gorgeous OLED screen in a functional but simple manner.
Now, not long after iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max have been out in the public domain, the wallpapers have been updated and released to match the new screen sizes on the two new devices.
The selection of gorgeous wallpapers come with a number of benefits for this who download and make use of them. First of all, they are a minimalists dream and contain nothing but a thin outline of color which traces all around the outer edges of the display and around the notch of the iPhone. There is also a colored tray on the bottom of the wallpaper to perfectly form the Dock space.
Secondly, the fact that most of the wallpaper is simply black means that there are power-saving benefits at work here. The blackness is an opportunity to show off the deep blacks that are possible with OLED panels but also mean that additional power isn’t needed to light the color pixels on the wallpaper as OLED panels don’t need to illuminate the black spectrum.
Not just that, there are also special wallpapers that hide the dock on the Springboarg. The developer is calling it “Quiet Dock”, and can be used just like the minimalistic wallpapers.
When you take all of that into consideration, there really are a lot of reasons why you need to be considering this wallpaper selection.
If you are an iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max owner, then using the Safari browser on the device, check out the updated wallpapers over here at this URL: heyeased.weebly.com/exactly-max.
