Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have shattered a number of records in its first six weeks on sale, and as well as outselling every previous iPhone during these early stages, has also done a pretty good job of embarrassing Samsung and the Galaxy Note 4. Despite the strong beginning, Apple’s iPhone 6 / 6 Plus roll-out is not yet fully under way, and having launched in the U.S., U.K. and several other key nations way back in September, the number of countries able to access the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus now stands at over 60. After posting exceptional figures across much of Asia – China and Korea seem to have taken very well to the Cupertino company’s latest and greatest – the iPhone 6 will hit another nine countries on November 14th, the details of which you’ll find below.
A week on Friday, Brazil, Philippines, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Guatemala, Lebanon, Kenya and Nigeria will be added to the growing list of nations able to snap up the iPhone 6, and along with the impressive sales numbers, Apple has also excelled itself in how quickly it has managed to hit the shipments and expand to as many markets as possible.
It’s not unheard of for China, for example, to be kept waiting until the new year to see the latest iPhone in an official capacity, but with the Chinese launch now out of the way, several other key markets are now waiting in line.
Of those countries mentioned in the cluster of November 14th beneficiaries, Brazil is easily the most significant, and whilst sales are unlikely to compete with what Apple is doing in China in terms of sales, Brazil is another emerging market that Apple will be looking to capitalize on looking ahead.
Although the iPhone 6 Plus has perhaps been more popular than expected, there’s little to call between either of Apple’s new handsets, and so if you’re still on the fence as to which you want to spend your money on, the size of the display should probably be atop your considerations.
The full list of countries is as follows:
- Brazil
- Philippines
- Colombia
- Costa Rica
- Chile
- Guatemala
- Lebanon
- Kenya
- Nigeria
- Malaysia
- Uruguay
So, if you happen to reside in any of the aforementioned countries, then the iPhone 6 is heading your way in the very near future, and we’ll have the launch covered on the day right here at Redmond Pie, so stay tuned!
