Apple’s iPhone 16e is officially up for pre-order! You can grab yours now from Apple’s website, with the first shipments and in-store availability starting Friday, February 28.
The iPhone 16e comes with a 6.1-inch OLED display, a notch for Face ID, and the Action Button instead of the old mute switch. It also ditches Lightning for USB-C, making charging and data transfer easier.
Under the hood, the A18 chip and 8GB RAM give it full access to Apple Intelligence, including AI-powered tools like Genmoji, Image Playground, and ChatGPT integration.
The iPhone 16e packs a single 48MP camera with a built-in 2x Telephoto zoom.
Apple also introduced its first in-house C1 modem, which improves power efficiency and helps deliver the best battery life on a 6.1-inch iPhone—offering up to 26 hours of video playback.
The iPhone 16e doesn’t support MagSafe but still works with Qi wireless charging. It also lacks an Ultra Wideband chip, meaning no Precision Finding for AirTags or other accessories.
