The folks at ChargerLAB set out to see just how quickly the new iPhones could charge, with the iPhone 16 Pro Max being the model that they put through its paces. A number of first and third-party charging accessories were used, with the result being that iPhone 16 Pro series buyers can expect their handset to charge around 20% faster than the iPhone 15 Pro models. However, buyers will only notice a difference when they start to use higher-powered chargers.

According to the stats shared by ChargerLAB, the biggest improvements come when you start to use charging bricks around the 60W mark, with the 65W providing the biggest of all. Those looking for a boost on a budget will want to pick up a 35W charger at an absolute minimum, though.

There is no shortage of charging brick options out there for people who want to power their iPhones, so don’t think that you have to go the Apple route.
