Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro Max might be the best iPhone the company has ever made, but it’s also shaping up to be its most expensive as well.
We’d already heard suggestions that it would cost more than the iPhone 14 Pro Max but a new report suggests that it could cost as much as $1,300.
Apple Hub reports that Tim Long, an analyst at British bank Barclays believes that Apple could be about to increase the price of the Pro Max model to $1,299, up from the current $1,099. The iPhone 15 Pro is also expected to see a price increase, although only by $100.
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus aren’t expected to cost more than their iPhone 14 counterparts however, and will still retail for $799 and $899 respectively according to the report.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max is already expected to be the best iPhone to date, perhaps explaining some of the price increase away. It’ll have a new periscope camera, we’re told, allowing for an improved optical zoom capability.
This could be the upcoming iPhone 15 lineup pricing:
iPhone 15 – $799
iPhone 15 Plus – $899
iPhone 15 Pro – Up to $1,099 ($100 increase)

A new Action button is also thought to be on the way, replacing the existing mute switch that has been around since the original iPhone in 2007. New materials and a slightly revised design could also bump prices up, with Apple thought to be reducing the size of the bezels on both Pro models.
