Apple’s latest iPhone 14 Pro Max is the best phone for people who want their device to last for a long as possible on a single charge, according to new data.
That data comes via a video posted to YouTube by FoneArena that shows an iPhone 14 Pro Max pitted against other flagship handsets including an iPhone 14 Pro, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 6 Pro, and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.
The tests are all available for you to watch on video, including those showing devices being put through the process of doing something similar to typical web browsing. In that test, the iPhone 14 Pro Max ran for 19 hours and 5 minutes, beating the iPhone 14 Pro by almost three hours. The next best was the Pixel 7 Pro with just 14 hours and 19 minutes.
Next up was a test running a YouTube video until the battery ran out. In that test the iPhone 14 Pro max again came out on top, lasting 11 hours before the battery died completely. The next best was the Pixel 7 Pro at 9 hours and 39 minuets, while the iPhone 14 Pro was in third with 9 hours and 14 minutes.
Notably, all of this comes as the iPhone 14 Pro Max has one of the smallest batteries of all. Its 4,323mAh batter is minuscule compared to the 5,000mAh batteries inside the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Pixel 7 Pro, and Pixel 6 Pro yet still bested them all repeatedly.
