iOS 15.2 beta 2 has just been released and brings with it a brand new feature for the iPhone 13 Pro; a toggle for Macro mode.
Earlier the iPhone 13 Pro’s camera was set to automatically shift to Macro mode with the right scene, with a toggle to turn that off in the Settings.
This new update moves that toggle to the Camera app itself.
This new feature was spotted by Aaron Zollo of YouTube, and shows us how to get this feature activate on the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max.
Users need to head to the Settings app, followed by Camera and selecting the Auto Macro setting to off. This feature is pretty cool since some users had complained about the camera focus shifting to Macro mode when not required.
The new option gets rid of some needless steps that were earlier required having the user move to Settings to disable this automatic focus shift.
