Here’s how to download and install the iPadOS 14 beta 1 over-the-air (OTA) configuration profile file update without a registered UDID or having access to a registered Apple developer account.
If you paid attention to Apple’s recent WWDC 2020 keynote, then the chances are that you are chomping at the bit to get your hands on the brand new iPadOS 14 beta.
The list of new features and improvements was quite literally jaw-dropping and it feels like iPadOS 14 is really going to take the iPad to the next level. Of course, with that in mind, it makes perfect sense that you want to be a part of that journey as early as you possibly can.
Thankfully, with the process that you will find below, you can get iPadOS beta 1 on your iPad without having access to an Apple developer account or without having your UDID registered.

Written instructions for this process are as follows:
Step 1: Grab the iPad that you want to give the profile installed to and launch Safari. Navigate to this link here for iPadOS beta 1.
Step 2: Wait for the page to load on your iPad and then select the Download button that is associated with the profile. This will start the download process to the iPad.
Step 3: Launch Settings > Profile Downloaded section and install the profile.
Step 4: After the successful installation of the profile, launch Settings again, and head to General > Software Update. This will force the iPad to attempt to communicate with Apple’s servers in order to grab the update. This will require an active internet connection to work as you are making a network call to Apple’s servers.
Step 5: When the iPadOS developer beta shows up, select the Download and Install button to start the process. The rest is now going to be handled for you.
Once the process has finished, you will be left with your gleaming iPad running the brand new iPadOS beta 1 firmware that gives you access to all of Apple’s recently announced features. Keep in mind that this is an initial pre-release seed of a major firmware upgrade so it will be prone to issues and potential bouts of instability.
