The wait is over. Apple’s 12.9-inch tablet, the iPad Pro, is now on sale and available to order on the company’s online store right now.
Announced at Apple’s media event in September alongside the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, iPad Pro features a stunning 12.9-inch Retina display with a screen resolution of 2732 x 2048 at 264ppi. It also supports pressure sensitive stylus dubbed Apple Pencil and a keyboard attachment accessory called Smart Keyboard, both of which are sold separately. It’s powered by Apple’s 64-bit A9X chip along with 4GB RAM and runs iOS 9.1 out-of-the-box. It also sports 4 speakers for great sound, Touch ID for fingerprint authentication, 12MP rear camera for photography and 1.2MP front camera for FaceTime calling.
iPad Pro is available to order in forty countries today, which includes: Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Cayman Islands, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greenland, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Russia, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, UAE, US, UK, Uruguay and US Virgin Islands.
So if you are in one of the above mentioned countries, you can place an order for iPad Pro right now from apple.com or the Apple Store app for iOS.
Pricing in the U.S. starts at $799 for the 32GB Wi-Fi model, $949 for the 128GB Wi-Fi model, and $1079 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular 128GB model. Like the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 4, iPad Pro is available in Space Gray, Silver or Gold color option.
As for the official accessories, Apple Pencil costs $99 in the U.S. while the Smart Keyboard is priced at $169. Official Smart Covers and Silicon Cases from Apple are also available for the iPad Pro, with Smart Cover priced at $59 while Silicon Case is priced at $79.
As of writing, Apple is showing a delivery date of Friday, November 13th (fastest), or Monday, November 16th (free) for iPad Pro orders in the U.S.
