Here’s iOS 18.3 beta 1 changes, new features and changelog, basically everything that has changed in one place for iPhone and iPad users.
As you may already know by now, Apple has today released iOS 18.3 beta 1 to developers of Apple Developer Program portal. This release comes a week after the company released final version of iOS 18.2 to public which brought with it first-wave of Apple Intelligence features.
While we were expecting Apple to include third-wave of Apple Intelligence features as part of iOS 18.3 release, it looks like that hasn’t materialized, at least not yet in beta 1, and may have been pushed to iOS 18.3 beta 2 or even iOS 18.4 release.
Because of this, iOS 18.3 beta 1 seems to be a minor release for now with few changes here are there. We have noticed a few changes in this beta and have listed them below for you to check out:
- iOS 18.3 beta 1 has new modem firmware update for some iPhone models.
- Robot vacuum support has been added in Home app.
- Minor change to Image Playground app icon.
- Type to Siri icon has changed in Control Center.
- Camera Control icon in Settings.app supports dark mode.
Apart from this, Apple’s changelog mentions various bug fixes and security improvements included as part of this release.
In addition to what’s new in iOS 18.3 beta 1, Apple has also released macOS 15.3 beta 1 today which has added Genmoji support to Mac. Genmoji support was added to iPhones and iPads as part of iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2 respectively.
