iOS 18 Public Beta: How To Sign Up For Update Now

Looking to get iOS 18 public beta? You can now sign up to test by enrolling your devices in the Apple Beta Software Program. Here are the details on this.

Apple announced the iOS 18 software update during the WWDC event on June 10 and a developer beta was also made available at the same time. But those who want to try iOS 18 out before its final release later this year won’t have to wait too much longer with a public beta program set to kick off this month.

The public beta for iOS 18 will begin before the end of July alongside betas for the big iPad and Mac software updates.

Apple hasn’t yet confirmed the exact date for when this program will begin, but those who want to get ahead of the game can preregister to be among the first to try iOS 18 out.

Apple has opened the preregistration process and the process is quick and easy.

Step 1: Head to beta.apple.com and choose the Sign Up button.

Step 2: Sign in with your Apple ID (soon to be called Apple Account)

Step 3: Read the Beta Software Program Agreement and press the Agree button if you agree to its terms.

Step 4: Follow the on-screen instructions for your specific device.

And that’s all there is to it. When the iOS 18 public beta software is made available you’ll be able to download the Software Update mechanism within the Settings app as usual.

Just remember that this is still beta software and that issues are to be expected. You can send bug reports and suggestions to Apple via the Feedback app on your iOS 18 iPhone, too.
