iOS 18 Public Beta 1 Release Date Announced Alongside iPadOS 18, macOS 15, tvOS 18 And More

Apple has announced iOS 18 public beta 1 release date alongside release date of iPadOS 18 public beta 1, macOS 15 public beta 1, tvOS 18 public beta 1 and more.

As you may already know by now, Apple unveiled iOS 18 and other platforms for the first time to the world at its annual WWDC 2024 keynote today. While Apple is releasing first developer beta of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS 15, tvOS 18, watchOS 11, visionOS 2 to developers today, those waiting for public beta will have to sit out for a bit longer.

Apple has announced that it will release first public betas of the aforementioned platforms some time next month. This public release of iOS 18 will likely coincide with developer beta 3 of iOS 18 which means that Apple doesn’t deem it fit to install iOS 18 on non-developer devices just yet.

It’s important to note that final version of iOS 18 is scheduled for release to everyone with a compatible device in Fall of the year, likely around September timeframe, to coincide with the launch of next-generation iPhone.

We recommend heading over to beta.apple.com now to sign up in advance for the public beta program so that you can get on the fun right when Apple flips the switch on public beta seeds next month.

What do you guys think about iOS 18 and iPadOS 18? Did you like everything Apple announced today? Will you be installing developer beta today or waiting for public beta release next month? Or are you someone who only installs new updates when they are released in their final form to public? Sound off in the comments below.
