iOS 18 Beta 3: Release Notes, Bugs, Features And Known Issues

Here are iOS 18 beta 3 release notes including known bugs, features, changes, and known issues coming straight from Apple.

After making the first iOS 18 beta available to registered developers on June 10, Apple later released the second update to the same group of people.

Now, the third developer beta is now available as well as we continue to work our way through the beta program that will ultimately culminate in a release to the public this coming September.

Apple is currently releasing new betas every two weeks which means we can expect the fourth beta to arrive towards the end of July. But for now, it’s iOS 18 beta 3 that is in the hands of developers and Apple has shared details about what the update includes via its release notes. This iOS 18 beta update comes as Apple also releases new betas for the iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro.

This update can of course be downloaded via the Software Update mechanism within the Settings app but you’ll need to be a registered developer – the public beta isn’t set to get started until later in July, but it’s unclear exactly when that will happen.

The iOS 18 update is going to bring with it tons of new features including the beta version of Apple Intelligence when it ships this fall. It’ll also be the software that comes preinstalled on the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro, too.
