Looking for iOS 14 beta 4 download release date for iPhone and iPad devices? Here’s when to expect it from Apple.
As strong as some of Apple’s iOS 14 beta releases have been – especially compared with iOS 13 – it hasn’t been flawless. That means that anyone who has already installed iOS 14 beta 3 is probably on the lookout for the beta 4 update. But when will it arrive?
We think we can answer that question based on past experience. Apple tends to release new iOS betas every two weeks, although it does sometimes increase that to every week as we get closer to an official public launch. We aren’t there yet, though, so two weekly is what we expect.
Apple released iOS 14 beta 3 last week, suggesting we have another week to go before we can expect the next update to arrive. Our guess would be either August 4 or August 5 depending on what kind of mood Apple is in at the time. We’d also then expect Apple to make the same update available to those on the iOS 14 Public Beta program a day later – assuming nothing goes wrong, of course.
As we mentioned earlier, we’d expect Apple to shift to a weekly update cycle as we get closer to a launch that will likely happen in September. That probably means that we have an update or two before that happens – again, depending on how things pan out.
All of this goes for iPadOS 14, too, by the way.
