You can now no longer have iOS 13.5.1 downgrade ability after Apple stops signing iOS 13.5 jailbreak friendly firmware. Here are the details.
Last week, Apple released iOS 13.5.1 with the sole purpose of patching the unc0ver jailbreak-friendly iOS 13.5 firmware. Today, after a few days of that release, Apple has deemed it fit to stop signing iOS 13.5, which now makes downgrading or upgrading to that firmware impossible.
There’s still some good news for those who have iPhone X or below devices running the latest iOS 13.5.1 as checkra1n is capable of jailbreaking that firmware.
The reason for this is that checkra1n is bootrom-based exploit which is found in the actual hardware itself rather than the software, which makes it impossible for Apple to patch.
