iOS 7, which launched alongside both the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s, brought with it some great new features. As far as the flagship handset was concerned, the introduction of slow-mo video capture was considered among the highlights, but even though Apple clearly worked hard to improve the stock Camera utility, there’s still plenty of room for improvement. quickCam, a tweak just released in Cydia, is perhaps the most enhancing feature we’ve seen, allowing you to preview and take snaps and videos without having leave the current app.
Quick compose tweaks have made it very easy for jailbroken iOS device users to send and reply to messages without having to constantly jump from the app, webpage, or game at hand. Essentially, quickCam offers a likewise service for the stock shooter. Using the activation method of your choosing, it pops up, allows you to configure or take your shot, and when you’re done, it simply makes way and allows you to carry on pwning noobs on CoD: Ghosts.
You don’t have to be in an app to take advantage of quickCam’s capabilities, either. You can also fire it up on the home screen, or just about anywhere else on your device. All you need to do is remember your chosen Activator action, and you’re good to go.
As well as being seamless and convenient, it also lessens the likelihood that you’ll miss that all-important Kodak moment, and for the cost of just $1.99, is great value for money.
quickCam can be picked up over at the BigBoss repository, which should be among your default list of sources in Cydia provided that you haven’t opted to delete it. Once you make your purchase, ensure you use Activator to set up precisely how you would like to run quickCam, and thereafter, you’ll be able to reap all of the benefits of this very well constructed tweak.
