Here’s how you can join the Apple Intelligence waitlist to get it up and running on on compatible devices running iOS 18.1 beta or macOS Sequoia 15.1 beta.
Apple released the Apple Intelligence package as part of iOS 18.1 beta and macOS Sequoia 15.1, but with a slight catch to it. Once updated to iOS 18.1 or the latest macOS 15.1, the feature isn’t straightaway available on compatible devices since there’s a waitlist system in place.
Here’s how you can go about joining that waitlist to unlock Apple Intelligence:
- Open Settings: Launch the Settings app on your device.
- Navigate to Apple Intelligence & Siri: Look for the “Apple Intelligence & Siri” menu within the Settings. It’s usually located near the top of the list.
- Join the Waitlist:
- At the top of the page, you’ll find an option that says “Join the Apple Intelligence Waitlist.” Tap on it.
- A pop-up will appear. Hit the blue “Join Waitlist” button.
- Activate Apple Intelligence:
- Once your access has been granted (you’ll receive a notification or confirmation), return to Settings.
- Make sure the “Apple Intelligence” toggle is turned on.
And there you have it! You’re all set to explore the new Apple Intelligence features.
