How To Join iOS 18.2 Waitlist For Image Playground, Genmoji, Image Wand

Here’s how you can join iOS 18.2 waitlist for Image Playground, Genmoji and Image Wand Apple Intelligence features.

If you updated to iOS 18.2, you must have noticed that this update includes next wave of Apple Intelligence features such as Image Playground, Genmoji and Image Wand, among others.

While iOS 18.1 does include first wave of Apple Intelligence features such Photos app Clean Up tool, Memory Maker in Photos, Writing Tools and more, it doesn’t include some of most wanted AI features such as those mentioned above.

While iOS 18.2 does finally bring these new features to end-users, however it’s important to note that Apple has bundled them under “Image Creation” banner and it, too, requires joining of yet another waitlist. Apple did have a similar waitlist for first wave of Apple Intelligence features too with iOS 18.1.

If you are figuring out how to go about joining this new waitlist in iOS 18.2, follow the steps below:

Step 1: After updating to iOS 18.2, you will notice a new Image Playground app added to your device. Look for it on your Home Screen or App Library and launch it.

Step 2: Next, on the Image Creation screen, tap on “Request Early Access” button to join the waitlist for Image Playground, Genmoji and more.

Step 3: And that’s about it. You will be notified when Apple opens next round of invites for early access into these next wave of Apple Intelligence features.
