I bought this notebook back in March 2008(see my review here) and have so far enjoyed every bit of it. Recently I made some icons to replace My Computer icon in Windows Vista because I got bored of the default one. The icons turned out good so I thought I’ll share it with you guys. So if you too are a owner of HP Pavilion dv2799 Special Edition Entertainment Notebook PC then you might like having these icons instead of the default one for My Computer in Windows Vista.
Steps to change your My Computer icon in Windows Vista:
- Click on Start Orb
. - Navigate to Control Panel->Personalization.
- Under Tasks, click on "Change desktop icons".
- Select My Computer and then click on "Change Icon…" button.
- Now simply select your favorite icon for My Computer and you are done!
