The official Google Search app for iPhone (formerly Google Mobile) has got a massive update this evening. Apart from getting a new name, the new Google Search app brings a complete revamped interface, with support for improved fast-app switching and more.
Here’s what’s new in Google Search for iPhone version 0.8.0.6023:
- New user interface with improved fast app-switching support
- Swipe right to make your search more specific
- Swipe down to access settings and log in to Google
- Updated help screen
- Certain corners rounded
- Goggles support for iPod touch and iPhone 3G
- Bug fixes
