We love it when apps go free, even if it’s only for a short period of time as part of some sort of promotion. No matter the motivation for the developer, it’s never a bad thing when app buyers get the chance to get something for nothing.
That’s why we like to tell everyone who will listen every time we come across a handful of apps that have gone free but would have previously commanded a price, no matter how large or how small that may have been.
So, without further ado, we have another handful here and we’re going to tell you about them.

It’s PAC-MAN, but in a game setting that’s not quite like the game we all grew up playing and it’s on iOS. What’s not to like, especially now it’s free!

Another game, Demolition Master involves blowing different buildings up in a range of different locations. If you always fancied yourself as a demolition expert then you’re going to want to get this before the price goes back up.
Don’t Run With a Plasma Sword ($1.99 – FREE / iPhone and iPad)
Sage advice indeed. It’s a fun game too. A runner that offers more than a nod to sci-fi movies of the past, this game is more fun than it ever really has any right to be.
Flick Champions Winter Sports ($0.99 – FREE / iPhone and iPad)
If the cold weather outside has you wishing for some winter sports, then this game has you covered without bogging you down in all the minutes that can make such games a little less than fun.
Moment ($0.99 – FREE / iPhone and iPad)
Fitness apps are all the rage right now, and this one has the unique feature of allowing a family to keep all of their movement data in one place. Any parent wondering just how much their video game-loving kids actually move around might be interested in this!
There are some great games and a useful app to be had here folks, even at their original prices. When they’re free, there really is no good reason not to download them today!
