Free music is relatively difficult or relatively easy to come by on the Web, depending on your moral compass, and if you regularly scour the likes of Google Play and iTunes for your next download, you’ll be interested to learn that the former is giving away a whole auto album for free. Details on how you can take advantage of this limited offer are posted below.
Music freebies can be a bit hit and miss. Often, giveaways are related to indie bands that nobody has heard of. Even if a popular music artist is included in the pool of free tracks or albums, it tends to be very mainstream stuff, but today’s Google Play offer may appeal to a wider audience than usual.
The album in question is Kaskade’s "I Remember," and it’s probably worth pointing out that Kaskade was voted as America’s best DJ in 2011 and 2013. Thus, if you enjoy music that gets you up and dancing, then you’ll probably appreciate this little collection.
Now we get onto the savings. Ordinarily, this album would set you back $9.99 on the Play Store, so if you’re in the hunt for some new music and don’t wish to pay before you listen, you may soon become a big fan of Kaskade.
Legal, free music of well-known labels is still fairly hard to come by, so in this sense, the album is worth having a look at. Even if you don’t find that it’s to your taste, you haven’t parted with any cash, so give it a spin on your favorite media player and see if it takes your fancy.
As always, we’ll keep our eyes peeled for any other great offers from Apple, Google or any other purveyor of content you may be interested in, and in the meantime, have some fun listening to Kaskade.
We’ve given it a listen here, and had a great time in doing so. Whether we’ll give it a subsequent listen depends on a number of factors, notably whether we’re feeling edgy enough, but for a free offer, we’d definitely suggest talking advantage.
You can grab the whole album from here. And remember, the offer is applicable to U.S. residents only.
