When Microsoft made Windows 7 SP1 available last month, users the world over set off downloading the update, but what if you want the files on a good old piece of plastic? Now you can order SP1 for free from Microsoft’s Online Store.
Available to everyone in Asia, Europe, Africa and both North and South America, the update can be ordered on DVD for free, though a delivery charge of $5 does apply.
Users can order up to 3 copies of the disc per person, and they can be obtained here for US and Canadian customers, and here for everyone else.
Remember folks, this is for the Service Pack 1 update, and NOT a full copy of Windows 7!
