Find How Much You’ve Walked Playing Pokemon Go, Here’s How

When Pokémon Go was first launched, it’s probably fair to say that the majority of people didn’t really know what to expect.

Sure, there had been a bunch of testers who had taken part in a closed beta trial of the game who pretty much knew it inside out, but the average iOS or Android device owner probably had no clue that they’d need to slip on their comfortable shoes and pound the tarmac in order to capture wild Pokémon.

If you’ve been playing the game for any period of time, and are quietly wondering just how active the game has made you, then there’s a relatively simple way of instantly checking exactly how much distance you’ve covered in your pursuit of capturing Pokémon, Gyms, and PokéStops. Simply follow the very simple step by step guide below to see your stats, and of course, this works for both Android and iOS (iPhone & iPad) versions of the game. Ready? Here we go.

Step 1: To begin, launch the game normally as you would on any compatible smartphone or tablet.

Step 2: When on the main screen of the game, tap on the little avatar in the bottom left to open up your own personalized character page. The profile page gives a lot of personalized information about your own Pokémon Go experience. It includes things like how many experience points you have, the medals that you’ve earned, the date you joined the game, and even the team that you’re a member of, if any.

Step 3: Scroll down to the part of the profile where the medals are displayed, and tap on the first medal in the list titled JOGGER. Here you will see that the medal icon shows a cylindrical progress bar that shows just how much distance has been covered from a total of 100 km, followed by a numerical representation of the distance you have walked.

And voila, there you have it Pokémon Go players. The JOGGER medal is a continually changing progress with your pursuit of those beautiful little Pokémon. If you aren’t happy with the distance provided, then the solution is simple; get out there, open the app, and cover some serious terrain. Remember, you gotta catch ’em all.
