The official Facebook app for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad currently doesn’t support playing videos natively. Well as they say that there is an app for just about anything, and now so is the case for playing Facebook videos as well. Facebook Video Player is a handy application which allows you to play videos on Facebook which has been uploaded by you, or others in Facebook video format. It’s a very neat add-on which makes viewing videos a breeze, right from the comfort of your iPhone.
Just install this handy little app and you’re good to go! Open your Facebook profile via this app, and where you see a video link, just tap on it and on top of the screen you’ll see a Play button, now you’re just tap away from watching the video. The star icon on top allows you to favorite any video of your choice for later viewing.

Facebook Video Player is compatible to work with the iPhone and iPod touch, and will most probably work with iPad as well. Make sure you have firmware 3.x or above to run it. The iTunes App Store link to download Facebook Video Player is here.
