We already showed you earlier on how to enable MMS and video recording on the jailbroken iPhone 3G/2G. But now with “2G/3G Video MMS Enable” app for jailbroken iPhones, you can enable video MMS functionality which is missing by default on the said models of iPhone.
Apple has already approved some video recording apps on the App Store for iPhone 3G and 2G. You can use these apps in combination with “2G/3G Video MMS Enable” app, which enables you to send videos saved in the camera roll through MMS, Youtube or email.
You will need to have a jailbroken iPhone 3G or 2G running iPhone 3.1.2 firmware to get this working. Follow the instructions posted here to first jailbreak your iPhone (if you haven’t already) before installing this app. The “2G/3G Video MMS Enable” app is available on Cydia for free on ModYouri repo. Simply add http://repo.modyouri.com in Cydia and then search for 2G/3G Video MMS Enable to enable video MMS functionality on your iPhone.
