Electra 1.0.4 iOS 11 Jailbreak Is Out, Here’s What Has Changed

Well known developer CoolStar has just made Electra version 1.0.4 for iOS 11 jailbreak available to download for jailbroken iPhones and iPads.

This version of Electra comes only a few days after version 1.0.3 was pushed out to public and brings with it minor changes in order to bring overall more stability to jailbroken devices.

To be more precise, Electra 1.0.4 has removed XPC code that CoolStar believes has been giving problems ever since its first implementation back with Electra beta 11. With the help of jailbreak team behind Meridian, he has also been able to replace TCP, UDP and XPC with MIG, possibly to improve stability of the jailbreak.

Full official changelog of Electra 1.0.4 as given by CoolStar is as follows:

1.0.4:
-Remove all XPC code that could possibly have been problematic ever since beta 11
-Replace TCP, UDP and XPC with MIG (thanks Psychotea from the Meridian team)
-Recommended to also update Tweak Injector to 1.0.4 from our repo to get safe mode in system daemons as well

Now, if you are wonder where can you get this version of Electra from, well, the answer is simple. You can download Electra 1.0.4 from the official site over at coolstar.org/electra/. Once downloaded, you can follow our full video tutorial here in order to help jailbreak your device running anything from iOS 11.0 to all the way up to iOS 11.1.2.

If you are already jailbroken using an older version of Electra, you can upgrade your jailbreak by simply deleting Electra jailbreak app from the home screen and then re-sideloading and re-jailbreaking your device using the latest Electra version 1.0.4.
