Apple’s iOS 17.3 update is now available for download, but for those with an Apple TV, Mac, or Apple Watch you also have new software to sink your teeth into. The new tvOS 17.3, macOS 14.3, and watchOS 10.3 updates are now available for download.
The new updates are all offered via their usual software update mechanisms and they are of course free to download. Some of the updates are bigger than others, but anyone hoping for huge new features is likely to be left disappointed. That doesn’t mean that they aren’t well worth installing, however.
watchOS 10.3
The watchOS 10.3 update is now available and can be installed once an iPhone has more than 50% battery and is connected to a charger. New features haven’t yet been discovered, but Apple’s release notes say that “watchOS 10.3 includes new features, improvements, and bug fixes, including new Unity Bloom watch face to honor Black history and culture in celebration of Black History Month.”
macOS Sonoma 14.3
The macOS Sonoma 14.3 update adds support for collaborative playlists when using Apple Music as well as support for emoji reactions on tracks added to those playlists. Apple has also added the ability to see AppleCare coverage on all devices signed in with the same Apple ID.
tvOS 17.3
Apple’s tvOS software updates are normally the least exciting and the tvOS 17.3 update is no different. It’s still worth installing just to make sure you benefit from the latest bug fixes, however.
