If you’re a diehard gamer then there’s no way GTA 5 went past your radar. After tons of screenshots and teasers, the fifth iteration of the groundbreaking title has landed today on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. If you’ve gotten your hands on GTA 5 at launch (if you’re lucky enough), then you definitely need some orientation with the title, and there’s no better way to do it than an on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
The official Grand Theft Auto V: The Manual app for iOS has been released over at the App Store by the game developers themselves, and is available as a free download for your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
Why do you need this app? Well, why not?! GTA 5 is a gold mine in terms of what it has on offer. And the chances are pretty high that you’ll miss out on a lot of things as soon as you grab that controller and sit in front of your big screen TV. Wouldn’t it be better if the game was at your fingertips from the first minute onwards, that includes controls, a tour of your neighborhood and whatnot? We thought so, too.
The app offers 100 pages of goodness and covers many aspects of the game in grave detail. Of course, it is not a walkthrough of the whole title, but it offers enough information to get you up and running in no time. In short, if you have an iOS device at your disposal, then this app is a must-have.
With the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 release on the horizon, it would be interesting to see how the title fares once its released on the next-gen consoles. And with the first day sales of GTA 5 off to a solid start, we’re sure GTA 5 will take new and potential gamers by storm.
Apart from the official manual app, be sure to give the Grand Theft Auto: iFruit for iOS app a shot, too. It offers a second screen experience of the title, and promises to keep gamers engaged in the most interactive way as possible.
