Recently, PlayBox HD download managed to sneak into the App Store, despite the Apple moderation team’s tendency to snuff out anything involving questionable streaming of Hollywood movies. Back when it was temporarily available, we showed you how to install it on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch devices, but since it broke the terms of service, we always knew the fun would be short-lived. Encouragingly, though, you can still install PlayBox HD on your device, and what’s more, you don’t need to be jailbroken in order to do so.
If you installed the app the conventional way, by downloading it from the App Store when it was available, then you’re all set for now. But if you haven’t, and you can’t / won’t be jailbreaking, PlayBox HD is available to snap up through vshare.
The likes of Popcorn Time, MovieBox and PlayBox HD have had their share of controversies, with the former having even been abandoned by its initial development team. But even with App Store bans and plenty of negative attention, each of these streamers continues to flourish, and if you wish to reap the benefits of PlayBox HD, you can do so without jailbreaking your device.
It works on iOS 8.2 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, and at the time of writing, is the very latest software. As and when iOS 8.3 crawls out of beta and is made available to the end user, the situation may well change, but for now, PlayBox HD fans can stream movies with consummate ease.
If you are jailbroken, then you can snag MovieBox and PlayBox through Cydia, which is much easier and means you’ll get updates quicker, but since a jailbreak is not yet available on iOS 8.2, PlayBox HD through vshare is your golden ticket for now.
