Download: macOS 15 Sequoia RC For Mac Released

Apple’s macOS 15 Sequoia software update is finally edging closer to release and developers can now download the first Release Candidate update ahead of the final update being made available to the public.

This new beta is likely to be the same as the final release assuming that no big issues are discovered between now and the go-live date, and developers can now download the RC version to make sure that it works well with their own apps as well as report any final bugs to Apple.

The developer beta requires that the correct developer Apple ID be signed in, and the new update is also compatible with a raft of Macs, too.

Registered developers can now download the macOS 15 Sequoia Release Candidate by heading to developer.apple.com and following the steps outlined there. Once you’re up and running you can then install the future macOS 15 betas following the usual update process using the System Settings app.

Remember that this beta should only be installed on Macs that are used for software development and that bugs and issues should be expected until the final release is ready for the public very shortly indeed.

Apple will also make iOS 18, iPadOS 18, tvOS 18, visionOS 2 and watchOS 11 available for download to the public soon, too.
